St. Luke's supports various Mission projects, local and global charities, and organizations throughout our communities that do good work in various areas including: homelessness, hunger, poverty, youth and young people, LGBTQIA+ community, those who are oppressed and marginalized, gun violence, climate change, sustainability, and advocacy and aid.

Fighting Homelessness

Harbor Interfaith Services (HIS)

The lead agency for homelessness in Los Angeles County and a regional social service agency in San Pedro that provides food assistance, emergency and transitional housing for homeless families, and life skill training training.

During the season of Advent, St. Luke’s and Faith Presbyterian Church, gather Christmas gifts and deliver the gifts around Christmas time for Harbor Interfaith Services transitional housing families.

Project:NEEDS 

A project to feed the homeless started by St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Redondo Beach, which we assist by providing home-cooked casseroles bi-monthly. If you are interested in helping to provide casseroles, please contact our office.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer program that helps make the dream of home ownership possible for low income families. We have actively participated in several Habitat Builds, including a current build in Culver City, CA.
